The Proof of God

God has proved himself many times already. The question is whether the proof is recognized or not.

Solid evidence have been demonstrated from Adam and Eve up to the time the Son of God healed the sick and raised the dead back to life. But He was rejected, tortured and murdered for what He did because there was no business in it. He did it for free. So, God was fed up and had His Son say: “You will never see me again until you say blessed is he who comes in the name of the creator of the universe.” Here we are now. We cannot see Him because he gives in to our choice of not wanting to see Him. By solid evidence we refer to that which can be seen, or touched. God has withdrawn solid evidence of Him in accordance to our desire not see Him.

However, we still have the so called logical evidence. We do this in science all the time. The reasoning runs like this. Let us take the atom for example. No one has seen the atom and the sub-atomic particles. Their existence is only established by reasoning out of the observed effects on the medium and the condition set up for the experiment. To make the long story short, Rutherford conceptualized an atomic model with electrons surrounding the structure with a very tiny center he called the protons. The protons was assigned a positive charge to make sense on why the negative electrons should stay around, because unlike charges attract each other. There should be equal number of electrons and protons, but when the weight is calculated on this basis, the atom has excess weight. So, another sub-atomic particle named the neutron was proposed to account for the mass difference. Everything looked fine, but wait a minute. How are protons with the same charge gathered together at the very tiny center of the atoms. They repel each other because of their similar charges. So another particle had to be theorized to hold the protons together and it was named gluon, derived from the word glue. There were numerous number of sub-atomic particles theorized later but we can stop just here for our purpose of illustrating that something can be believed to exist by logical evidence.

Since God has withdrawn all solid evidence of Him, what is the logical evidence of His existence? The line of reasoning runs like this. A toothpick, as simple as it is has a designer and a creator. It is totally foolish and senseless to believe that a toothpick can come to exist by itself. Let us take a single living cell. It is countless times more complicated as a space lab. Who would ever think in his right mind that a single living cell can become existent by itself; or the atom the workings of which we do not fully understand; or the cosmos as huge and as exquisitely designed as it is. Applying the self existent concept to the things we do not fully comprehend is illogical and senseless.

Isaac Newton said: “He who thinks half-heartedly will not believe in God; but he who really thinks has to believe in God.” Max Planck said: “All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force... We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.” What more can I say? Nothing more.
