Reconciliation
with God does not mean changing God’s will and laws to fit our will.
Reconciliation means changing our will to align with God’s will. This is the
same as the phrase “Your will be done on earth as in heaven” in the Lord’s
Prayer written in Matthew 6:10. It is
also written in Luke 22:42 saying,
“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away
from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” This is a perfect example of how God’s will is
preferred over our human will. The Son of God was rejected, tortured, and
murdered because men insisted on their will not God’s will. That is what the
churches of this world are doing until now after more than
two thousand years.
