We Christians believe that the God of the Bible created the heaven and the earth, and the days of the week. We profess our love
for our creator. The irony is that we name the days, and the heavenly bodies in honor of the pagan gods. We presume that it is ok with our creator. Really? How about this?
- Joshua 23:7 Make sure you do not associate with the other people still remaining in the land. Do not even mention the names of their gods, much less swear by them or serve them or worship them.
He hates just mentioning those names. We go to the extent of naming His creation after them. And we say we love Him. This is mockery. We are mocking the God that makes us alive. This is ungrateful.
